The children explored the concept of arrays today and how they apply to multiplication. An array is an arrangement of objects, pictures or numbers in columns and rows. They searched our classroom and found that it is filled with arrays, such as the tiles on the floor, the lights on our ceiling and the baskets in our library. What arrays will the children find tonight in their homes?
